Lilo and Stitch surfed the big wave to the top of the box office over the Memorial Day weekend, beating Tom Cruise and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.

The live-action tale starring Hannah Waddingham, Zach Galifianakis, Tia Carrere and an adorable Maia Kealoha as Lilo, had earned an estimated $145.5 million on Sunday.
