Tom Cruise suffers another production setback as his eighth Mission: Impossible film is delayed yet AGAIN after £23m submarine malfunction

Tom Cruise's new blockbuster Mission: Impossible has reportedly been delayed due to a malfunction while filming with a £23million submarine.

The seventh film, Dead Reckoning Part One came out last year, but production on the second instalment, was hit with delays due to the Hollywood writers’ strike. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that director Joseph Kosinski is also expected to return after proving himself with the critical and commercial smash success. Although news of the high-flying sequel struck some as an attempt to blunt the positive publicity Warner Bros. was getting for scoring a Tom connection, THR reports that it has been quietly in development since the late fall.
