Tom Cruise Steals the Show at Cannes With 'Mission: Impossible' Premiere

Mission Impossible 8 debuted at Cannes with Tom Cruise leading the star-studded premiere of the action-packed franchise’s possible final chapter

Prior to hitting the iconic steps of at the Palais des Festivals, Cruise attended a more casual photocall with the Mission: Impossible cast, where he wore a monochromatic burgundy polo and trousers with a platinum Rolex watch. In addition to the previously mentioned stars, joining Cruise in the movie are returning cast members Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, Mariela Garriga and Vanessa Kirby. Director Christopher McQuarrie also played coy in the interview, teasing the future of Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character, a spy who specializes in completing (as the title suggests) ostensibly impossible missions.
