“To everyone that works at Paramount Pictures and Skydance, thank you for your many years of partnership and unwavering support,” the actor continued. In addition to M:I, Disney’s Lilo & Stitch had a massive $341M global opening, with the two films combined setting a four-day Memorial Day weekend record. At this month’s Cannes Film Festival, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning was just greeted with a 7½-minute ovation inside the Grand Théâtre Lumière.
