In a move set to shake up breakfast television, Today star Karl Stefanovic could be jumping ship for a new career in the US.
'Karl makes no secret of the fact that he wants a piece of the American dream, and this could be his time to shine after investing in the Las Vegas franchise, which could see him moving permanently,' the insider revealed. According to New Idea, Karl is reportedly set to team up with movie star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for the new venture which involves a Super League based in Las Vegas On top of his investment, Karl also backed Brisbane Broncos star Reece Walsh to become the face of the US competition after they saw him play in the historic NRL opening round in Las Vegas on March 2.
