Hoda, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday with her family on August 9, was interviewing culinary journalist Amy Reiley about her book The Love Diet alongside then cohost Kathie Lee Gifford when she asked a rather shocking question. Refusing to dance around the topic, Hoda steamed right in and said: 'We wanna get a piece of business out of the way before we start, there's a co-author, Juan-Carlos Cruz, who is accused in a murder for hire plot with his wife.
