Toby Keith Was Voted Into Country Music Hall of Fame 1 Day After His Death
Toby Keith will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame following his death from stomach cancer at age 62
He said, ‘Brett, whatever happens, I’m OK with it,’” Favre recalled their last conversation to TMZ Sports on February 7, adding that he kept in touch with Keith every “three-or-so” months while the singer was battling cancer. “Last fall I was diagnosed with stomach cancer,” the “Red Solo Cup” crooner wrote via Instagram in June 2022, noting his intentions to take a performance hiatus. After announcing his stomach cancer diagnosis in fall 2021, Keith explained in June 2022 he was taking a break from performing and making new music.
