Toby Keith to Get All-Star Salute on CMT Music Awards Featuring Lainey Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, Lukas Nelson and More (EXCLUSIVE)
Toby Keith will get a tribute on the CMT Music Awards, with Lainey Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, Lukas Nelson, Sammy Hagar and others joining Keith's band.
Set for what is being billed as special appearances saluting the late singer are Lukas Nelson, whose father, Willie, had a smash duet with Keith, “Beer for My Horses,” and sports figure Roger Clemons. The salute to Keith joins a long list of performances already set for Sunday’s CMTs, with artists including host Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll, a Little Big Town/Sugarland pairing, Bailey Zimmerman, Keith Urban, Cody Johnson, Dasha, Jason Aldean, Megan Moroney, Sam Hunt, Needtobreathe with Jordan Davis, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum featuring Brittney Spencer, and special humanitarian awardee Trisha Yearwood. The 2024 CMT Music Awards air live on CBS from Austin’s Moody Center at 8 p.m. Sunday night, with concurrent livestreaming for Paramount+ With Showtime subscribers, and on-demand viewing on Paramount+ starting Monday.
