TLC Cancel Shows After T-Boz Hospitalized for ‘Abdominal Blockage’


TLC canceled a pair of shows this weekend after member T-Boz was hospitalized for an abdominal blockage.

The Nineties R&B group, famous for hits like “No Scrubs,” “Waterfalls,” and “Creep,” were scheduled to play the New York State Fair in Syracuse on Aug 23. and the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut on Aug. 24. The group issued a statement about the cancellations on Saturday that said Watkins “experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting, and intense abdominal cramps” upon arriving in Syracuse after a Thursday night performance in Toledo, Ohio. Formed in 1990 in Atlanta, TLC — made up of Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes — were one of the biggest “girl groups” of the Nineties and early 2000s.
