Tina Knowles shared in her memoir, ‘Matriarch,’ that she briefly reconciled with ex Mathew Knowles after filing for divorce in 2009
In her new memoir, Matriarch, Tina, 71, recalled filing for divorce in November 2009 after Mathew, 73, fathered a child with another woman. The duo didn’t speak for three months after she filed, but when he visited her in New York City in early 2010, she had a change of heart. Tina recalled that Beyoncé “nodded solemnly” at the news, but Solange “exploded,” questioning her mom’s decision to reunite with the man who’d cheated on her.
