Tina Knowles Announces New Memoir ‘Matriarch’

Tina Knowles will release her memoir 'Matriarch' next year.

According to the official synopsis of Matriarch, the memoir will chronicle Knowles’ youth as a “precocious, if unruly, little girl” from Galveston, Texas. Knowles’ eldest daughter Beyoncé shared a loving message to her mother as she helped announce the memoir: “Mama, I couldn’t be prouder,” she wrote. Beyond raising multiple talented musicians, Knowles’ claim to fame was designing early stage outfits for her eldest daughter’s group Destiny’s Child.
