Timothy West's final words and 'beautiful' meaning of his time of death revealed by son

The son of late Fawlty Towers actor Timothy West has shared his father's final words and the "beautiful" meaning of his time of death after he died last month

Known for his work on stage and screen, including his appearance in 'Great Canal Journeys' alongside his 'Fawlty Towers' star wife Prunella Scales, Timothy sadly passed away last month at the grand age of 90. In an emotional revelation, actor Samuel, currently starring as Malvolio in a Royal Shakespeare Company production of Twelfth Night, opened up about his father's final words to him, which were a simple, poignant question: "Where are you going to rehearsals? " The beloved couple had made an appearance on BBC Breakfast last year to talk about the impacts of the illness on their lives, with Prunella expressing heartfelt gratitude to her late husband: "Thanks for sticking with me for so long."
