Timothée Chalamet Wins SAG Award for Best Actor and Says ‘I Want to Be One of the Greats’: ‘I’m in Pursuit of Greatness’
Timothée Chalamet made history as the youngest best actor winner at the SAG awards.
Chalamet won his first major awards precursor for his transformational performance as Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s biopic “ A Complete Unknown.” He went on to say, “I know the classiest thing would be to downplay the effort that went into this role, and how much this means to me, but the truth is, this was five and a half years of my life. He has also received ensemble nominations for “Lady Bird” (2017), “Don’t Look Up” (2021), “A Complete Unknown” and the TV drama series “Homeland” in 2013.
