As hundreds of Timothée Chalamet lookalikes gathered Sunday in New York City, the Oscar nominee crashed the event to surprise his fans.

On Sunday, the Oscar nominee made a surprise appearance at New York City’s Madison Square Park, where hundreds of fans gathered to compete in a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest. The competition comes after the first trailer for Searchlight Pictures’ A Complete Unknown debuted earlier this month, showing Chalamet as Dylan in the James Mangold-helmed biopic, which premieres Dec. 25 in theaters. Last month, Chalamet began filming the Josh Safdie-directed sports drama Marty Supreme, which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Fran Drescher and Sandra Bernhard.
