'Marty Supreme' has Timothée Chalamet in talks to produce and star, with Josh Safdie to direct in his latest collaboration with A24.
Previously seeing A24 produce his and brother Benny Safdie’s films Uncut Gems and Good Time, Josh’s most recent solo directorial effort prior to Marty Supreme was 2008’s The Pleasure of Being Robbed. A legendary American table tennis player known for his flamboyant style and exceptional skill, Reisman started playing at a young age and quickly rose to become one of the most iconic figures in the sport, winning multiple national and international titles. Known for his unique and unorthodox playing style, which included a strong emphasis on spin and a distinctive forehand and backhand technique, he was a master of deception and could manipulate the ball in ways that confused his opponents.
