Tim Walz! Kamala Harris Selects Minnesota Governor as 2024 Running Mate

Tim Walz is the choice! Kamala Harris has chosen the Minnesota Governor as her potential Vice President of the United States.

The 60-year old wasn’t initially considered a strong contender for Vice President, but has made national headlines over the past few weeks for his emphasis on just how “weird” many members of the Republican Party have become. (Photo by Jim Vondruska/Getty Images)“I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @walzforgovernor to be my running mate,” Harris wrote on Instagram this morning, adding via social media: Walz is a former teacher, national guardsman and high school football coach who turned to politics in 2006 when he successfully ran for U.S. Congress as a Democrat in a historically Republican district.
