Swift endorsed Harris for president shortly after the 2024 Presidential Debate wrapped. Walz, the Minnesota governor who is Harris’ VP pick on the Democratic ticket for the President of the United States, was on MSNBC speaking to Rachel Maddow about the just-wrapped 2024 presidential debate on Tuesday (Sept. 10) night when news broke that Taylor Swift had endorsed Harris. Swift’s statement was both a rebuke of fake AI content that falsely claimed she endorsed Trump and an explanation of her political priorities in the upcoming election.
