Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd Want to Ruin Each Other’s Lives in ‘Friendship’ Trailer
A24 has released the first trailer for 'Friendship,' starring Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd.
The A24 film, written and directed by Andrew DeYoung, will play at SXSW in March before arriving in theaters in May. I’m on the edge of life, and the view is gorgeous.” Soon, though, Rudd’s character tells Craig they should “go their separate ways,” leading to some signature Robinson’s antics. A synopsis for the film notes, “Suburban dad Craig falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor, as Craig’s attempts to make an adult male friend threaten to ruin both of their lives.” A press release adds, “Writer-director Andrew DeYoung takes Tim Robinson’s signature cringe to the big screen in a laugh-until-you-cry nightmare comedy about male bonding gone wrong.”
