TikTok Creator Dies of Cancer at 21 After Heartbreaking Final Post
Dominique McShain, who chronicled her battle with cancer on TikTok over the past year, has died. She was 21.
On TikTok and Instagram over the course of the last year, McShain documented her treatment as well as other life events — including her wedding to “childhood sweetheart” Sean Suson on July 12, 2024, as well as the couple’s honeymoon trip to Thailand. McShain’s post continued, “I’ve checked off all the classic teenage milestones — first kiss, dramatic breakups, friendship fallouts, and sneaking out to parties (Mum, Dad… let’s just pretend you never read that). Her final video on TikTok was posted on April 11, with a caption that read, “Sorry for lack of update, I’m alive but VERY YELLOW and veiny and swollen on my stomach which has caused me to gain 7kg which is ALOT for my proportions.”
