Tiësto Will No Longer DJ Super Bowl 2024 Due to ‘Family Emergency’

Tiësto's was tapped to DJ the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas, but had to cancel the gig at the last minute due to a family emergency.

On Thursday afternoon, just days before the big event, Tiësto announced his decision to pull out of the gig he had spent months preparing for due to a family emergency. “Me and my team have been preparing something truly special for months, but a personal family emergency is forcing me to return home Sunday morning,” Tiësto posted on X (formerly Twitter). Super Bowl LVIII will take place at Allegiant Stadium, not too far from the pulsing heart of Las Vegas, where the likes of Zedd, lllenium, the Chainsmokers, Alesso, and more are scheduled to perform this weekend at various clubs and venues.
