Thursday Releases First New Song in 13 Years, Plans to Continue Recording Together

Thursday has released "Application for Release From the Dream,” the band's first new song in 13 years.

It’s been 13 years since post-hardcore band Thursday released its most recent album, “No Devolución,” but the group has finally dropped a new song. The track, titled “Application for Release From the Dream,” came to streaming services after the band debuted the song live at a concert in Albany, NY. Lead singer Geoff Rickly spoke to Variety last year about how he was eager to write more music with the band, but he didn’t want to put big expectations on the result.
