Beta Film ’s thriller series “The Couple Next Door,” commissioned by the U.K.’s Channel 4 and Starz in North America, has taken the global market by storm. The six-hour drama stars Sam Heughan (“Outlander,” “Suspect”), Eleanor Tomlinson (“The Outlaws,” “Poldark”), Jessica De Gouw (“Pennyworth,” “Our Man From Jersey”) and Alfred Enoch (“Harry Potter,” “How to Get Away With Murder”). Loosely adapted from the Dutch series “The Neighbors” by Millstreet Films, “The Couple Next Door” is written by David Allison (“Marcella,” “Bedlam”), directed by Dries Vos (“Suspect,” “Professor T”), produced by Jen Burnet, and is executive produced by Jo McGrath, Walter Iuzzolino and Alison Kee.
