Before Jon Bernthal took on the role in Marvel’s Netflix shows (and now, the MCU), fans considered Thomas Jane to be the definitive version of The Punisher. Yet with it now being confirmed that he isn’t in the film, some are questioning if Jane rejected the chance to return, or if he simply wasn’t asked to reprise his role.
