Ben Shephard made a cheeky joke at the expense of his soon-to-be co-host Cat Deeley's husband Patrick Kielty ahead of their first This Morning show together on Monday
Ben and Cat will become co-hosts on Monday, March 11 as they replace Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning after months of turmoil and rotating presenters. Mainstream presenters like Alison Hammond, Josie Gibson, Dermot O'Leary and Rylan Clark filled the gap for a while before the new co-hosts were confirmed. Over in the US, Cat has had a jam-packed diary, including an appearance on US talk show, Live with Kelly and Mark, and promoting and filming episodes of the 18th series of So You Think You Can Dance (Image: ITV)Ben couldn't hide his feelings when he said through the tears: "I'm desperately trying to hold this together, we've got three hours!
