This Morning star terrified after being 'asked at last minute' to go on I'm A Celeb

This Morning contributor Gyles Brandreth said he was asked at the last minute to join last year's I'm A Celebrity cast, but was too terrified of the show to take part

But the broadcaster said that viewers would be unlikely ever to see him head Down Under for I'm A Celeb as he finds the whole thing terrifying, and is even scared of the rope bridge leading into camp. Offering some inside gossip on the series, Gyles said: "What is interesting is that they obviously had a space at the last minute because I was asked again only this week, so maybe somebody dropped out and they were desperate." Gyles is a regular contributor to This Morning and is also popular with Gogglebox viewers as a guest on the celebrity version.
