This Morning icon gives her verdict on show's new co-presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard as she brands them a 'safe choice' and admits 'they didn't ask me'


A This Morning star has given her verdict on Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard's appointment as co-presenters on This Morning, suggesting they are a safe choice.

Rustie Lee, 74, who has regularly featured on ITV's This Morning since 2012, where she hosts the cooking segment, said that she loves the duo but enjoyed the way the show used a mix of different presenters before that. Rustie said she enjoyed seeing different presenters coming in from different walks of life, such as Alison Hammond, (left), and Josie Gibson, (right) because it gives everyone a chance to do something Much-loved Rustie started her TV career as a cookery expert on Good Morning Britain back in 1983 and stayed on the show until 1991.
