Ben Shephard returned to This Morning with Cat Deeley for the first time in six weeks and talk quickly turned to Ben's new beard and fans aren't sure what to make of it

Gyles Brandreth on the other hand didn’t approve of Ben’s new look as he declared “every young male has got a beard”. At the end, he added: “Keep the ideas and thoughts coming in - few days till I get back to work, does the beard stay or go??
