This Morning and Lorraine axed amid ITV schedule chaos


ITV has faced yet another schedule shake-up, with the channel moving This Morning and Lorraine from their usual breakfast slots on Friday morning for a series of specials

Instead, Good Morning Britain will run an additional 25 minutes, with the show ending at 9:25am as Susanna Reid and co-host Ed Balls present the special broadcast. She'll be presenting coverage of key developments as the results come in, with Tom Bradby joining her as well as guests George Osbourne, Ed Balls and Nicola Sturgeon. George Osborne, Nicola Sturgeon, Tom Bradby and Ed Balls will be part of ITV's Election CoverageIn May, even Britain's Got Talent was pushed out of its usual Saturday night slot- however, this was to avoid a 'ratings war' with the Eurovision Song Contest, which aired on BBC One.
