Third time's a charm? Former Triple J host Alex Dyson announces he's having another crack at entering politics


Radio host Alex Dyson has announced he's having another crack at politics.

Former Triple J breakfast host Alex Dyson revealed on Thursday that he will be running as an Independent in the Victorian seat of Wannon in the next Federal election, for the third time 'And I think despite it being extremely taxing and tiring a lot of the time, the good side of it, and the people you meet, and the hope and goodwill that comes out of running for parliament, it's something that I couldn't not say yes to again.' Alex, who left his Triple J breakfast hosting gig in 2016, also took to Instagram to announce his candidacy with an 'election winning' snap which elicited a huge response from followers.
