Theatrical ‘CoComelon’ Movie In Works For Release By Universal
'Cocomelon' is getting the feature treatment courtesy of Moonbug Entertainment & Flywheel Media, which are readying a film for theaters in 2027.
Moonbug Entertainment, a part of Candle Media, and Flywheel Media have greenlit the first-ever CoComelon animated feature, a theatrical extension of the massively popular kids’ series, which will be released by Universal Pictures in 2027. From trying new veggies to winding down for bed, its songs and content have become a go-to resource for millions of parents to learn and bond with their children. Created with input from child development experts, the show has in recent years established itself as a breakout phenomenon, reaching audiences in over 80 countries with more than 4 billion average monthly views on YouTube.
