The Weeknd will perform an exclusive, one-night-only concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, this September. Get the details.
The Weeknd, who is a United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador, will partner with the U.N. World Food Programme to contribute $1 from each ticket sold for the special São Paulo show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the organization’s response to the unprecedented global hunger crisis. The “Popular” hitmaker recently became the first Canadian artist to achieve seven diamond certified singles, following the RIAA‘s certification of his Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You.” He’s also the fourth overall artist to score seven or more diamond tracks, which marks at least 10 million equivalent units sold.
