The Weeknd & School on Wheels Team Up to Provide Laptops, Tutoring & Mentorship for Homeless L.A. Students
The Weeknd has partnered with the L.A.-based organization School on Wheels to support more than 1,000 students experiencing homelessness.
Since 1993, School on Wheels’ mission is to enhance educational opportunities for children who are experiencing homelessness from kindergarten through twelfth grade. In 2020, he donated $1 million to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,$500,000 to nonprofit organizations committed to racial equality and$300,000 to victims of the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. He posted the two album covers along with a third, black slide with a white question mark in the middle and a parental advisory warning label.
