The View's Whoopi Goldberg urges people to 'leave Kelly Clarkson alone' while defending controversial weight-loss drugs - as her cohost Joy Behar claims 'nobody wants to be fat'
Kelly, 42, has received major backlash since she admitted that she was prescribed weight-loss medication, after previously insisting her dramatic transformation was the result of 'walking.'
As the rest of the panel, including Sunny Hostin, joined in with defending mother-of-two Kelly, comedian Joy Behar claimed that 'diets do not work' and even insisted: 'Nobody wants to be fat, except a sumo wrestler.' Sunny, 55, who recently admitted to using weight-loss drug Mounjaro to shed the pounds, said: 'After 50, it's really difficult to lose weight and so if people are doing this to make themselves feel better, I'm all for it because I think that the physical is connected to the mental, right? 'I don't think the personal health choices that you make for yourself should be subject to discussion,' the mother-of-two argued as Whoopi said part of the problem is that 'this generation shares everything.'
