The Traitors star has revealed he suffered a life-threatening injury that almost cost him his place on the BBC show.

The business manager, 36, became notorious on the show for his 'Oscar-worthy' acting skills and being unafraid to throw his fellow contestants under the bus, yet just weeks before filming began he suffered a collapsed lung while playing football, he revealed to OK! As well as navigating a web of lies and deceit, the BBC show also sees contestants taking part in a series of physical team building challenges in order to raise money for the winning prize pot. While he's embracing his villainous side for the gameshow, in real life Paul likes to make everyone laugh as an amateur comic and is also a loving husband to wife Kate and father to 21-month-old son Charlie
