The touching reason why Jeff Brazier signed up to Celebrity Race Across the World revealed

The TV presenter, 45, is appearing on the reality TV show alongside his rarely-seen son Freddie. The BAFTA award-winning show will return at 9pm on Wednesday 14th August on BBC One and iPlayer.

He shares sons Bobby, 21, and Freddie, 19, with late Big Brother legend Jade Goody- who died in 2009 at the age of 27 following a battle with cervical cancer. Jeff told The Daily Star newspaper's HOTTV column: 'I wanted to take part because the travel element is an absolute privilege, but also to share it with my son and to be able to make those memories. The famous faces will say goodbye to lavish transport, smartphones and bank cards and instead must rely on their skills, cunning and ingenuity as well as the kindness of strangers.
