The 68-year-old singer - who is best known for being a part of 2 Tone ska band the Specials - had been lined up for a series of performances throughout the coming year but after being hospitalised a total of three times in December, specialists have now advised him to pull the plug on all upcoming live shows. A statement posted to X read: 'At the beginning of December 2023, the legendary frontman Dr #NevilleStaple #FromTheSpecials was diagnosed with suffering from a serious heart defect. A statement said: 'Neville has been treated at 3 different hospitals and specialists have prescribed treatments and medications to try to control his symptoms, and thankfully things do seem to have stabilised'
