A statement from his team said: “We wanted to confirm that as Jay Blades continues to take time out, he won’t be attending the session as advertised at this year’s Hay Festival. While his team did not give a reason for the last-minute pull out, Jay has been keeping a fairly low profile since his split from wife Lisa was made public.
