Colin suffers from Pierre Robin sequence, a rare birth defect causing an underdeveloped jaw, breathing difficulties, and inability to speak or chew. Entrusting the worn-out toy to experts Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell, ensured Jess received extra care and attention, giving the cat a new lease of life. Viewers were left reaching for tissues as Colin entered the barn and was overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of his cherished toy, Jess, restored to its former glory.
