The Repair Shop favourite, Jay, is taking a break from social media following the devastating loss of his uncle, who was reportedly killed on a peaceful residential road due to an ongoing argument about a shared alleyway. Reports have since surfaced that Richard Brathwaite, aged 72, was discovered lifeless on Cromwell Road in Wembley near midday on March 21, after allegedly being stabbed by a neighbour from the same street. Jay received an outpouring of support in the comments section under his video message, with former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin expressing her condolences: "I am so sorry to hear this, sending you love xx."
