A Channel Nine newsreader was forced to stop midway through her bulletin on Friday morning.

Today presenter Jayne Azzopardi was delivering news on a devastating car crash on Queensland's Gold Coast when her voice faltered. The mishap occurred as Azzopardi reported that the 37-year-old man involved in the Gold Coast car wreck thankfully walked away unscathed after hitting a fence and rolling his utility truck. Boney broke down in tears when she announced in March that she will be leave Today and move abroad to study a Masters of Public Policy at prestigious Oxford University.
