Rumours of a feud between Cyrus matriarch Tish and her daughter Noah first began to swirl last August when family members were noticeably absent from Trish's wedding to Prison Break star Dominic. Noah was discussing her song Young & Sad in an Instagram Live session when she dissected a lyric, where she compares her sister to, 'sunshine, bringing good light wherever she’ll go,' while she, 'was born to rain clouds, blessed in her shadows.' Miley appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2020 to promote her seventh album Plastic Hearts at the time, and was asked what it must have been like for Noah growing up in her older sister's spotlight.
