The Price Is Right host Drew Carey reflects on past two suicide attempts amid battle with depression: 'I was just tired of my life'


Drew Carey revealed he attempted suicide twice in his life, once at 18, and another time in his early twenties while battling depression.

Just a year earlier, the star had been playing the cornet and trumpet in the marching band of James Ford Rhodes High School from which he graduated in 1975. After moving to Las Vegas with just $500 in his pocket, and selling his blood plasma for $40 to buy groceries, he joined the Marine Corps Reserve. Despite finding fame with his stand-up comedy career and his own sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, the Cleveland native admits to feeling the occasional 'who's-gonna-miss-me?'
