The Playmaker has signed to handle international sales for the thriller-comedy 'Sew Torn,' with UTA looking after North American rights.
The Playmaker has signed to handle international sales for the thriller-comedy “Sew Torn,” with UTA Independent Film Group looking after North American rights. The film centers on Barbara Duggen (played by Eve Connolly), a mobile seamstress, who is struggling to keep her fabric shop alive. Moritz Hemminger, head of sales and acquisitions at The Playmaker, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the truly unique ‘Sew Torn’ by the exceptionally talented director Freddy Macdonald to the world.”
