Heather’s mysterious pains, secret pregnancy, and ongoing teen abortion drama seem to be setting us up for something tragic, huh?
Not long after, we find her checking in on Dr. Mel King, who is still pretty shook from the fact that her patient Ginger’s daughter and caretaker may have just skipped out on her mother. It’s certainly not helpful when Robby reminds her that if only she had just stuck with Dr. Abbott’s fetal measurements, Kristi would’ve already been discharged without her mom being able to stop her from taking the abortion pills. The second positive here is that Trinity’s embarrassment means the playing field between her and the other newbies on the shift, who she has been mercilessly teasing in a way that I guess is supposed to be fun but mostly reeks of hidden pain and/or immaturity, is now equal.
