According to cops, Courtney’s dad Kim went to the apartment after she was arrested to clear out her belongings and stumbled upon the device, which was not initially impounded by law enforcement as evidence. A police affidavit obtained by the outlet details over 4,200 texts in a group chat with Kim, Deborah, and Courtney’s lawyer, which allegedly show the parents and daughter trying to figure out the password.
