The One Show fans 'never knew' host Alex Jones' real name - and it's not Alex
The One Show host Alex Jones has been a familiar face on our screens for more than a decade - but viewers have only just discovered that the TV star has a completely different name
The revelation came during an Instagram video last year when Alex was packing up her London home to move with her husband Charlie and their three children - Ted, Kit and Annie. Alex, who joined The One Show in 2010, gave fans another hint about her real name when back in August 2021 she shared a picture of newborn daughter Annie's feet on Instagram, wearing the same hospital band from her memory box. The snapshot revealed a tag spelled 'Charlotte', sparking fans' curiosity that it might be the chosen name for Alex and Charlie's bundle of joy before they announced her real name was Annie.
