The North Road Company Hires Former Channel 4 Drama Chief Caroline Hollick

The North Road Company has hired Caroline Hollick, the former Channel 4 drama boss.

Hollick exited during UK network Channel 4’s swingeing cutbacks earlier this year after a six-year spell in which she oversaw critical hit shows such as It’s a Sin, Help, The Gathering and the I Am… franchise. The Edinburgh TV Festival was notably short on drama and comedy announcements, but Channel 4 content boss Ian Katz has said spending at his network is returning to 2019 levels. Hollick caught some flak at the back end of last year from the UK drama community for her association with Channel 4’s The Couple Next Door, which was written by her husband, screenwriter David Allison.
