The Match Factory has acquired world sales rights to Berlinale Golden Bear contender Dying by German director Matthias Glasner. Corinna Harfouch co-stars at the mother who is quietly happy about her demented husband, played by Hans-Uwe Bauer, slowly wasting away in a home, until her new freedom looks set to be cut short by diabetes, cancer and kidney failure. Dying is produced by Port au Prince Film & Kultur Produktion, Schwarzweiss Filmproduktion and Senator Film Produktion, in association with ZDF and with support of ARTE, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg, Film- und Fernsehfonds Bayern, Nordmedia, BKM, FFA and DFFF.
