The Masked Singer star Dave Hughes CONFIRMS the talent show has been axed by Channel 10: 'It's a tough one'


Dave Hughes has confirmed The Masked Singer won't be returning to Channel 10 this year.

The singing guessing game, which hosted by Osher Günsberg, is apparently very expensive to produce thanks to the elaborate costumes, high production quality and international talent required to put on the show. When contacted by Daily Mail Australia for comment, a spokesperson for Ten said: 'We are currently confirming our program schedule for the second half of the year, with announcements being made soon.' An insider told TV Blackbox at the time that part of the issue was the network had consistently struggled to retain viewers.
