The major change Ariana Grande refused to make to her Wicked character

Ariana, 31, who has been tipped to receive an Oscar nomination for her role in the epic blockbuster, plays the role of Glinda the Good in the epic movie musical which was released last week.

In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, Schwartz revealed that his music team suggested updating Popular to give it a 'hip-hop' style and the 31-year-old singer, who has been tipped to receive an Oscar nomination for her role, flat out refused to sing it. During the chat, the legendary composer and the film's director, Jon M. Chu, also discussed certain aspects of the movie - including the much-loved music, which fans were certainly familiar with thanks to the Broadway show. However, he managed to negotiate with the Into You hitmaker and confirmed that the song's altered ending, in which the key changes three times, gave Ariana's Glinda an opportunity to hit an operatic high note.
